Product quality

HOLASA classified in this way the film produced according to quality:

"FIRST QUALITY ": Quality first is the normal production of electrolytic tinning line subject to the usual procedures of inspection and testing of finished product, this film is suitable for lithographic coatings and in general can be used to its fullest extent. It should also be free of holes, wrinkles, breaks, bumps and lumps of tin inlaid on the surface.Request

"STANDARD QUALITY ": Material in sheet form which is the product for inspection at the production line, with a mix of first quality criteria and up to 5% of quality second. It is suitable under normal storage conditions, lithographic coatings and general purpose tin. This film should be free of holes, wrinkles and lumps of tin inlaid on the surface. "SECOND QUALITY": The production quality is second rejected and / or classified electrolytic tinning line subject to the usual processes of inspection and testing of finished products and / or grading banks. You can file bankruptcy, wrinkles, dents, rust in the form of maps. Ties are not allowed to film.

"SURPLUS": Are cuts, scraps, rejected by-product of electrolytic tinning line for compacting scrap, which is fully oxidized uncoated sheet, Tin with wrinkles over 40% of surface area and oxide Tin over 60% of surface area.

Electrolytic Tinplate

Electrolytic TinPlate: Marking conventions for differential

Markings are used by HOLASA to identify the differential coating of ETP.

1. Differential Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) shows parallel lines as indicated in the drawings.

2. The distance between the lines indicates the tinning that has been applied to the Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP). For example, a distance of 12.5 mm between lines indicates a 5.6/2.8 g/m2 differential tinning.

3. Bearing in mind the international standards, the parallel markings indicate the side with the greater coating. For example, in differential Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) with 5.6/2.8 g/m2 tinning; the marking will be on the side tinned with 5.6 g/m2.

4. In electrolytic tinplate supplied by HOLASA, the markings will always be on the upper side of the ETP.

5. Notwithstanding the international standard, if the customer would rather have the markings on the lower tinned side, HOLASA is in a position to provide this service, but keeping in mind that the markings will always be on the upper side.

6. In differential Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP) with differential coatings, the distance between parallel lines will be agreed with the customer.

Notes:
1. Double reduction (DR) electrolytic tinplate has a price surcharge that is different for each thickness.
2. Conventional widths less than 711 mm have a surcharge over the base price (up to a minimum of 457 mm)
3. The lamination direction (grain direction) is determined by the nominal width of the sheet and is always perpendicular to it.
4. HOLASA has specific sizes according to the required needs
