HOLASA
classified in this way the film produced according to quality:
"FIRST QUALITY ":
Quality first is the normal production of electrolytic tinning line subject to the usual procedures of inspection and testing of finished product, this film is suitable for lithographic coatings and in general can be used to its fullest extent. It should also be free of holes, wrinkles, breaks, bumps and lumps of tin inlaid on the surface.Request

"STANDARD QUALITY ": Material in sheet form which is the product for inspection at the production line, with a mix of first quality criteria and up to 5% of quality second. It is suitable under normal storage conditions, lithographic coatings and general purpose tin. This film should be free of holes, wrinkles and lumps of tin inlaid on the surface. We provide our customers the chance to deliver tinplate and Tin Free Steel (TFS) lithographs and varnished, or to offer them this service.
Equipment technology
HOLASA’s equipment displays three types of features:
1. Dimensions of the material to be processed: This refers to the width, length and thickness, which define the number of units of products that will be obtained from each lithographed plate. This searches for the maximum width, the maximum length and the minimum thickness, which in turn reduces the production cost of each element.
The equipment acquired by HOLASA allows to process plates 1145 mm long, with a width of 950 mm and thickness from 0.14 mm to 0.60 mm in Electrolytic Tinplate (ETP), Tin Free Steel (TFS) or Aluminum, in straight or scroll cuts, turning into the market’s plant with the best specifications.
2. No printed area on both sides for canned and welded portion: In order to provide this characteristic which is fundamental in high-quality cans used for food, HOLASA acquired a last-generation varnisher that allows doing this type of work.
3. Furnace size for curing process: This characteristic defines the line’s speed for the coating processes since these have a define cycle of temperature and cooking speed. The oven’s length defines the cooking speed, since it has to guarantee that the plate is at least the time specified for the coating. The longer the length, the higher the speed. HOLASA acquired a 30 meter-long oven in its curing zone and of 5.48 meters in its cooling zone, which allows speeds of up to 6500 plates / hour, the second in size in the country.
Environment: In this aspect, HOLASA took the decision to acquire equipment that avoids contamination of solvents, thus keeping its policy to be a leader as far as protecting the environment. Consequently, we acquired an incinerator that burns the solvents of coatings and sends to the atmosphere the combustion gases, complying with the most stringent environmental norms, with which we are sure to keep effective our ISO 14000 certification granted by ICONTEC in December 1999.
