Our Quality
Among the factors involved in our production process, human resources are pivotal since a top quality product results from the effective efforts made by all those that work at our Company to develop, maintain and improve the conditions that enable obtaining and selling our products.
Quality is a matter of philosophy and part of the principals we adopt and turn into our Company’s policies. Hence, we demand top quality from our raw material suppliers by issuing lab test certificates as evidence.
Laminated rolls result from an iron and steel process. Each roll’s content is analyzed and certified and solely those that meet international quality standards are delivered. The tin demanded has a degree of purity above 99.85% and is known as electrolytic tin. After the steel rolls arrive to HOLASA, we begin the production process of tinplate or tin free steel. Next, we take a sample of each roll; we carry out their physical and mechanical tests as well as their width, thickness, the steel’s temper, etc. We then compare these results with the specifications demanded for the material based on Colombian and international standards.
